Forget Oktoberfest in Munich or Coachella in California, the festival we are looking forward to is Australia's first-ever Burrata Festival in Melbourne.

One of our favourite dishes when dining in Italy or in any Italian restaurant anywhere in the world is the burrata salad served with plump tomatoes. Of course the hero of the dish is the creamy burrata cheese and that is why we are excited about the upcoming Burrata Festival that is taking over the upper carpark of South Melbourne Market. Hosted by That's Amore Cheese, Australia's first-ever Burrata Festival will be a delicious way to spend an evening in Melbourne filled with live Italian music, cooking demos, masterclasses and of course lots of burrata to sample. The Burrata Festival will be held on October 30.
