The Australian Museum of Performing Arts, Melbourne's new museum, is showcasing Diva, a spectacular exhibition celebrating our world's famous divas and their dramatic costumes and gowns.

Melbourne's Australian Museum of Performing Arts is putting together a diva-worthy inaugural exhibition that will celebrate music and fashion in fabulous style. The Diva exhibition will see more than 250 objects including gorgeous gowns worn by some of the world's most celebrated divas. A stage ensemble worn by Maria Callas, a corseted Christian Dior dress worn by Vivien Leigh, Rihanna wearing a John Galliano for Maison Margiela robe at The Met Gala, and a fringed black dress worn by Marilyn Monroe in Some Like it Hot are only some of the iconic pieces being displayed alongside gowns and outfits worn by Tina Turner, Cher, Elton John, Whitney Houston, and Lady Gaga. The exhibition will be unveiled on December 11 and is your rendezvous to see some of the costumes that are at times as iconic as the divas wearing them, making for a wonderful cultural experience to take in for anyone who loves the theatricals of performing on the world stage.
