You're in Paris, where desserts are a celebrated moment on any day, but it's too hot to indulge in Angelina's famous hot chocolate. So how do you treat your sweet tooth? From on-the-go options to a stylish sit-down summer dessert treat, we are serving you the must-try desserts when visiting the French capital.

Is there anything better than champagne and strawberries? Claire Heitzler & Producteurs has created a delightful sorbet that transforms the popular duo into an on-the-go treat for you to enjoy as you stroll through the Jardin des Tuileries. The cup is a delicious layering of champagne sorbet, strawberry sorbet, strawberry marmalade and crunchy pieces of rose-flavoured biscuits from champagne country capital Reims.

For an oriental flavour to your sweet treat you have to try the Maison Gazelle gourmet dates. Stuffed with pistachios, almonds and orange blossom dipped in chocolate, or almond and rose, these are the sweet bites that you need in your basket bag and pop out for a sneaky treat in the Louvre.

Le Meurice is serving frozen desserts created by the hotel's pastry chef Cédric Grolet. Famed for his trompe-l'oeil desserts, Grolet has turned delicious ice-cream and sorbet into edible works of art for you to delight in. Yuzu, passionfruit and peaches are all served at the hotel's Le Dalí restaurant for you to crack open and reveal sweet and refreshing sorbet to be enjoyed with chilled ice tea.
