Melbourne's new beer garden, Lush 2.0, is the new hotspot for modern pub food and great cocktails.
South Melbourne has just welcomed Lush 2.0, an urban chic rooftop and bar. Set in what used to be Wayside Inn, one of Melbourne's oldest venues dating back to 1868, Lush 2.0 is filled with modernity and history with street art adorning the walls, reflecting history and filled with symbolism. Blending pub classics and modern cuisine, the menu here is generous and delicious. Start with the mushroom and cheese arancini or the buffalo chicken wings served with blue cheese dip before tucking into baby back ribs or a classic chicken parma. Vegans, vegetarians and gluten-free diners are also spoilt with choice with the menu including eggplant parma, mushroom risotto and a delightful super salad with quinoa, wild rice and roasted vegetables.
