50 Shades! The Musical Parody is sending up the cult Fifty Shades of Grey novel as part of the Melbourne Comedy Festival with a serving of cheekiness.
It became an instant hit and Hollywood movies soon followed, and now the 50 Shades novel trilogy is getting the comedic treatment with a live musical. After sold out shows in New York and Las Vegas, 50 Shades! The Musical Parody is coming to the Athenaeum Theatre in Melbourne where until the 4th of April the audience will be treated to a hilarious show set to the first instalment of the erotic trilogy, Fifty Shades of Grey. The musical tells the story of three women in a book club who through their reading bring to life the characters in the book around them. Whether you have read the books or not this musical promises to have you in stitches with 12 original songs creating the soundtrack to the steamy show.
