She brought joy to Melburnians during lockdown with her desserts and now Rosemary Andrews is bringing her famous Instagram cakes to Malvern.
Talented pastry chef Rosemary Andrews first started her dessert box business back in 2021 during the Melbourne lockdown to bring people happiness through cake boxes, and people loved the idea of the boxes and cakes that it has become an evolving business with Rosemary now opening Mietta by Rosemary, her first shop in Malvern, Melbourne. Her signature Honey-Misu, which is a seven layer cake, similar to a tiramisu with dulce de leche, Market Lane espresso and caramelised Victorian honey, will be on the menu along with foodie favourites such as the Eight Layer Carrot and Pecan Cake, and the Two Texture Valrhona Chocolate Cake. The pastry chef who has worked with Ben Shewry, one of Australia's best chefs, and dreams of working with famous French pastry chef Cédric Grolet, will also be adding to her irresistible menu some French-inspired delights including vanilla slice and Paris-Brest. Mietta by Rosemary will open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 10am until sold out.
