What has started as a side hustle is now turning the fashion world on its toes. Launched by stylist and ShopShops host Pia, The Southern Dutchess is the dream wardrobe for any lady, with the first capsule collection, Act I, made up of accessories and pieces that are so versatile that they can take you from the office to the bar, and from work to Sunday brunch in a very stylish step. Inspired by her home country Uruguay and her travels, the designer has dipped into her heritage and her current base, Paris, for inspiration, mixing the two influences and creating classic and timeless pieces that still have character and make a statement. Using linen and silk, the same luxurious silk used for Hermès's signature scarves, for the kaftan-style ponchos, and semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls for the jewellery, the designer has created our dream pieces for making a fashionable statement that isn't going to date in a month.
