Paris Takes a Bite of the Big Apple

Paris's most famous tea house, Angelina, is branching out and heading to the Big Apple.

The city that never sleeps is getting quaint with the recent opening of Angelina. The famous tea house is bringing all the French refined taste of Rue de Rivoli to Sixth Avenue, marking the house's first opening in America. An almost identical replica of the French capital's flagship address, the New York branch boasts French décor complete with Louis XVI-style chairs and mural paintings of the South of France. On the menu patrons can indulge in Angelina's signature l'Africain hot chocolate and its Mont-Blanc dessert, a meringue pie topped with lashings of Chantilly cream and chestnut cream.
