Jet-Setting Shopping

Travelling and shopping go hand in hand and these four new boutiques will have you reaching for your passport as soon as travel restrictions are lifted.

Fashion house Elisabetta Franchi has just opened its Monte Carlo flagship store in the city's upscale Métropole Shopping Monte-Carlo shopping centre. Located on the ground floor of the centre, the boutique invites you to browse the house's sophisticated and feminine collection to take you from lunch at the Hôtel de Paris to playing poker at the iconic Casino de Monte-Carlo with effortless coolness.

Home is where the heart is and furnishing your home with Elie Saab Maison will have you falling in love with your abode. The Lebanese fashon house's home décor collections are now taking centre stage in Dubai as the house integrates the Obegi Home showroom with a space sprawled with its splendid pieces that reflect the maison's Lebanese identity and the French flare frequently seen in its haute couture creations.

Another house making a fashionable mark on Dubai's already impressive list of luxury boutiques is Italian brand Furla. The house's new boutique is located in Dubai Mall's aptly named Fashion Avenue where you can discover the latest collections of bags, shoes and exquisite silk scarves.

Whilst technically Swarovski's boutique on the glamorous Avenue des Champs-Elysées in Paris may not be a new opening, its recent facelift warrants a mention given that it looks and feels like a whole new space. Decked out in an explosion of colour, the boutique is an entrancing shopping experience plunging you into a spectacular jewellery box where the house's crystal creations dazzle and shine all around you.
