Chanel's iconic Rouge Noir nail polish has inspired the French house's latest make-up collection and it is fast becoming a cult collection cementing that the 90s are truly back, even in glam.

The 90s are truly back complete with Chanel's seal of approval. Gen Xers will undoubtedly remember the launch of Chanel's Rouge Noir nail polish in 1994 during the autumn/winter 1994/95 ready-to-wear fashion show, a beauty moment that stands out in time as perhaps one of the world's first beauty launches to become a cult product, remaining so today. Celebrating the longevity of the polish's staying power in pop culture and its iconic status, Chanel has just launched the Rouge Noir make-up collection, complementing the ever so chic nail polish that was inspired by the dark red interior of Chanel's cult 2.55 bag. The limited edition collection includes a lengthening and curling mascara, waterproof eyeliner, lipstick and of course nail polish all in the iconic shade.
