Dinner with Madame Bovary

Dine like Flaubert and his famous characters with a culinary event taking place in and around Rouen, the birth place of the French writer.

It has been 200 years since the birth of the great French writer Gustave Flaubert, and to mark the event the Seine-Maritime department, where the great writer was born, is organising a host of cultural events throughout the year. The most enticing, and appetising, of all is the A Table Avec Flaubert event where restaurants around the French department will be putting together menus or simple dishes inspired by Flaubert and his celebrated novels as a tribute to the writer's intricate details of meals throughout his novels. Participating restaurants can be found on the dedicated app and for every Flaubert menu or dish ordered diners will be gifted a free museum pass for every ticket purchased to be used in any of the region's museums.
