The Mandarin Oriental, Paris hotel and chef Thierry Marx have put together an international cocktail menu that will take you from Tokyo to New York to Paris in a simple mix of a drink.
A cocktail in one of Paris's most luxurious hotels has our name all over it and we're quite certain you too will be reserving your happy hour there as well. Bar 8 at the Mandarin Oriental has just unveiled its new menu and it's a voyage for your senses. Inspired by the hotel's famous chef, Thierry Marx's travels, the menu pays tribute to 12 destinations that are special to the chef through culinary and mixology creativity. Sip Paris, filled with champagne bubbles and vanilla vodka, or perhaps awaken your senses with New York, a take on the traditional Irish coffee, while Japan gives you a taste of the exotic with yuzu, Jasmin and shochu. Accompanying the travelling cocktails is a snacking menu made up of international street food including bao buns, burger and fries, and dim sum. What city are you thinking of tasting?
