Better Bitters

A new bar in Paris is all about cocktails with drops of bitters, bringing to life each ingredient in each drink.

In the 9th arrondissement of the French capital, chef Philippe Baranes has opened Amaro, a beautiful neighbourhood cocktail bar specialising in bitters. With a hanging garden, brightening up the quiet street, Amaro serves up quite the variety of bitters, with each cocktail on the menu bringing new paired flavours to make your cocktail hour buzz with delight. The menu offers reimagined Negronis and original cocktails all with bitters making a starring role in the recipe, and all to be enjoyed with a delicious menu of tapas-style sharing plates that include mini pizzas, cheese and charcuterie platters and salads.
