Bar Hemingway has welcomed a new head mixologist and now happy hour at the Ritz will never be the same again.
Colin Field is synonymous with the Bar Hemingway at the Ritz Paris, having created the famous bar's signature cocktails. Now after 29 years of sharing with patrons his entertaining anecdotes, the talented mixologist has passed on the baton to his protégé, Anne-Sophie Prestail. It is no easy feat to take over from one of the most respected bartenders in the world, but having worked with Field since 2006, Prestail has inherited the hypnotic recipe book to continue serving guests all the classics whilst bringing her very own spin to mixing new cocktails, starting a new era in cocktail hour in Paris. This weekend we're stepping into the iconic bar in Paris for one, or two, drinks to toast being in the City of Light.
