A Boho Weekend in Melbourne

Embrace your inner Byron Bae this weekend in Melbourne and head to the Royal Exhibition Building for the Boho Luxe Market where you can learn about crystals, sip on Prosecco and create your very own flower crown.

Melbourne is turning into Byron Bay this weekend with the Boho Luxe Market bringing the boho vibe of the coastal town to the city’s iconic Royal Exhibition Building. From Friday the 26th to Sunday the 28th, walk through the bohemian market and browse the stalls for artisanal jewellery, clothing and homewares, as well as candles to light up your world. The market also plays host to workshops where you can pick up the know-how on how to mix essential oils and fashioning flower crowns, and if you are in need of some inner healing then partaking in the sound healings organised by Festival of Sound Healing needs to be on your must-do while visiting. In between getting your hair braided by Kalon Wellness and adding hair feathers to your mane from Birds of a Feather Studio, make sure you stop by The Prosecco Van for a little bit of bubbly, and if you are a boho foodie then you’re going to love the local food trucks with plenty of vegan options on offer. This is a great weekend event to zen and zone out, taking a leaf out of Byron Bay residents’ playbook and stepping out of the urban jungle for a moment, embracing and flirting with the bohemian lifestyle of spirituality, even if for just an afternoon of alternative being.
