A fun BBQ and lots of champagne are turning the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Versailles into an event even Marie-Antoinette would have approved of and loved.
Forget cake, Marie-Antoinette's spirit is letting us eat barbecue and drink champagne in the plush Waldorf Astoria Versailles - Trianon Palace hotel. Every Thursday and Friday from 6.30pm to 9.30pm and every Saturday from 12pm to 2.30pm, the hotel will be hosting the most sophisticated bbq we have ever seen. In the garden, surrounded by gorgeous greenery, you are invited to feast on seafood, vegetables and grilled meats, sip on Perrier-Jouët champagne and be entertained by a DJ. This is a perfect rendezvous for a summer evening after visiting the neighbouring Château and letting you feel like royalty for a night in the grounds of the very fancy hotel.
