Party Bubbles

Christmas, New Year's eve or just a random Monday can be sparked with joy with some bubbly, so start popping these bottles to celebrate a special occasion or to simply say goodbye to 2020.

French Champagne house Krug is famous for its annual Grande Cuvée offering, with the house releasing a special Champagne every year made by blending over 120 individual wines from more than 10 different years. An outstanding example of this blend is the house's Krug Grande Cuvée 168ème Edition, which sees 198 wines from 11 different years come together to create an explosion of emotion with notes of hazelnut, almonds and gingerbread, making for a perfect bottle for the festive season.

Much like Champagne, Wolfberger's Alsace Crémant is a wonderful blend of wines, bringing the characteristics of Pinot blanc, Riesling and Pinot gris together to create a festive sparkling wine. Blending the Chardonnay grape variety of the Alsace valley region, the Wolfberger Cuvée Célébration Unique fills the palate with sweet notes of almonds, vanilla and toasted brioche.

For rose-filled bubbles, Château Berne serves a wonderful rosé sparkling wine. The extra dry offering comes from Provence, the French region famous for its rosé wine, and is rounded with notes of peach, marrying perfectly well with a chocolate dessert.

G.H. Mumm champagne is one of France's most appreciated champagne houses, and its Cordon Rouge bottle of bubbly is its hero blend. Named after the house's signature red ribbon that adorns all its bottles, Cordon Rouge blends over 100 different crus and sparkles with notes of lychee and pineapple.

For the perfect send off that 2020 deserves delivery company Frichti has created its very own special champagne with a very fitting name. The limited edition F**k 2020 Cuvée Spéciale is a brut champagne that is eagerly waiting to be popped to say farewell to the year that has proven to be, unanimously voted, the worst year ever!
