Have you always wondered how Gisele Bündchen looks after her hair? The gorgeous Brazilian model shares with us her best-kept haircare secrets and what she considers important in life when it comes to beauty and self-care.

She is one of the most beautiful women in the world with a delicate, natural beauty that inspires many, especially her gorgeous hair. Now Gisele Bündchen has become Garnier's Global Brand Ambassador, representing the French label's haircare products that are both effective and affordable. Here, the Brazilian model shares with us her haircare routine and her philosophy on beauty and self-care.
A hair ritual you swear by.
I try to let my hair air dry whenever I can and gently massage my scalp when I shampoo. I also like to do a braid after the shower and let it air dry it. It’s also important to remember that good nutrition makes such a difference too!
What are your go-to Garnier products?
I love the Fructis Hair Food masks especially banana and aloe for deep nourishment. It keeps my hair soft and smooth, and it smells so good. I also like the Sleek & Shine serum after washing my hair.
Why are you excited about the new Garnier Fructis Diamond Sleek range?
Living in Miami with the sun and humidity, my hair really goes through a lot. I love that it keeps my hair smooth and shiny without feeling heavy or damaging it. It fits into an effortless routine high performance but simple.
What makes you feel truly beautiful beyond products?
Connection, with myself, my children, my family, friends, animals, and nature. Moving my body, deep breathing, and appreciating the little moments all make me feel so good and grounded. And when my work feels meaningful, when I’m contributing in some way to
something positive, it brings a deep sense of fulfilment to my life. I am filled with gratitude and I feel the outside we see is simply a reflection of how we feel on the inside.
Was there a turning point that set you on a deeper wellness path?
Yes, in my early 20s, I experienced anxiety and panic attacks. Even though everything looked great on the outside, my body was asking for attention. That was the wake-up call that changed everything. I realised I needed to listen to my body and start caring for my health. I began learning about nutrition, practicing yoga, and meditation, along with gaining an understanding of the importance of slowing down. Spending more time in nature was incredibly healing. As I wrote on my book “Lessons”, challenges are often opportunities in disguise, and that’s exactly what that was for me. I’m grateful for all of it, because it brought an awareness I didn’t have before and ultimately made my life so much better.
How do you personally interpret “Look Good, Feel Good, Do Good”?
For me, it means honouring your inner world, caring for your body, loving yourself, and letting that energy ripple outward into how you treat others and the Earth.
Why do you think the sensory experience of beauty products matters today?
Life moves so fast. Those little moments, the scent, the texture, the feeling, can turn a routine into a ritual bringing us back into our bodies and remind us to slow down, be mindful and take care of ourselves.
How does your Brazilian background influence your view of beauty?
Brazil has such a joyful, natural approach to life. Growing up surrounded by nature also gave me a deep appreciation for natural ingredients and Brazil’s diversity taught me early on that beauty comes in many forms.
How does this partnership reflect your personal approach to wellness?
It reflects my belief in mindful choices, caring for ourselves while also caring for the planet. Wellness isn’t just personal, it’s collective. I’m drawn to brands that share that holistic view and don’t ask you to compromise between feeling good and doing good. What I appreciate about Garnier is the focus on simple, effective products that are mindful about ingredients. It feels aligned with how I try to live every day.
Why is accessible, inclusive beauty important to you?
I come from a small town in Brazil, so I always believe beauty should be for everyone, everywhere. High-quality, effective, responsible products should be accessible to all people, no matter where they live. Everyone deserves to feel seen and supported. Beauty should never be exclusive; it should be empowering.
One sustainability habit you wish more people adopted.
Being more mindful about waste using refill options, recycling, and reducing consumption when possible. I always talk to my kids about the importance of reduce, reuse and recycle. Also conserving water, it sounds simple, but it makes a big difference.
What gives you hope for the planet?
Seeing young people so passionate about protecting nature, asking questions, and choosing more consciously. Innovation, community action, and companies stepping up with real solutions all of that gives me hope.
How has motherhood deepened your environmental commitment?
Motherhood makes you think about the future in a whole new way the world your children will inherit. It’s about protecting nature, choosing safer products, and leading by example at home. Small daily choices can create real change when we all do them together.
How has motherhood changed how you see beauty and self-care?
Motherhood taught me that self-care isn’t selfish, it’s essential and that beauty isn’t about age or fitting into a certain standard it’s about being true to yourself and loving yourself. Taking care of my health allows me to be the best mother I can be. Choosing products that are healthy for my family, and the planet feels like the right thing for me.
