Cédric Grolet’s New Creation is an Egg

Pastry chef Cédric Grolet has turned La Prairie's cult caviar cream into an edible work of art.

Our favourite French pastry chef Cédric Grolet has drawn inspiration from luxurious skincare label La Prairie and has created his very first savoury pastry infused with caviar. The chef who is known around the world for his extraordinary trompe l'œil desserts has created L'Oeuf Caviar, an egg-shaped delight made with comté and Parmesan cheese mousse floating on a bed of blinis and filled with an egg yolk, all topped off with caviar. The Caviar Egg is a culinary celebration of La Prairie's Skin Caviar Luxe Cream and will be available in the chef's Opéra pastry shop until November 8.
